Boost Controller....ALONE

im wondering, i see some people who buy a boost controller and dont tune their car, does the car adapt itself to the added boost, however, still running rich?

im just wondering that the difference between a custom tune and a mail in tune could be dramatic, so if i get most of my power increase from the boost alone, would adding a boost controller and nothing else affect much else adversely?

A custom tune is alot better than just throwing a MBC on your car, and a mail in tune is a safe tune. Every car is different so that is why a custom tune is the best way to go. I don't think just adding a boost controller is going to increase your whp alot, you take alot of risk by just adding a mbc.
