Oil/Air Change Question
Oil/Air Change Question
First off let me introduce myself, this is my first time posting really. Names OneIllEvo and I just got my 03 Apex Silver VIII not that long ago and wanting to do some maintenance.
From what I have read and searchedI have deduced my oil filter question to:
Use Mobile 1 10w30 synthetic (stray away from extended performance or synthetic blend)
The OEM filter is the best for our cars
Unfortunatley the Mitsubishi dealership nearest me is about 6 town over (not that far but its about a 35 minute drive each way). So I am pretty much stuck with local parts dealers (Autozone, WallyWorld, Pebboys, etc)... What are decent alternatives to get me going today with an oil change that go great with the mobile one? The car has 19k on it.... please let me know.
Also, have there been any known problems with the STP or FRAM drop-in air filter? I know the K & N drop-in has some problems with getting some dirt passing through it but anyone know about these cheaper brands?
