boost solenoid removal...

Exclamation boost solenoid removal...

hey guys...when i installed my BR mbc i removed the boost solenoid after it kept tryin to re-adjust the boost to stock. now i'm gettin a CEL regarding the wastegate. is there a way to either a)flash something on there bypassing what that sensor is reading (i have the tactrix cable) or any other way to get that light to stay off...thanks

I just capped the solenoid outlets and left it plugged in. Autozone should be able to clear the light for free for you.

Ditto on that. I removed mine recently and got the CEL for an issue with the wastegate solenoid, aka OEM BC. Plugged it back in, plugged both ports and it is not an issue.

What part of New York are you in? Definitely leave the Stock Solenoid electrically plugged in and cap the ports. I have a logger if you need to clear your CEL, or as stated above, just go to Advance/Autozone and ask them to clear it.
