Just log the data, and make sure you annotate what you are doing during the logged input so the tuner can read the data correctly.
He doesnt have a cable to do that......
Glad to hear it!! Al has always done right by me. The nice thing is you can keep sending it back to him, as you begin the mod process. I'm sure there's a point at which you may endeavor into the full blown programmable ECU, but Al is definitely the way to go in the interim. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do..
John is a very good tuner.. THe other day i went to Central FL Turbo to have the o2 sensor removed from my cat(PITA!) and he was showing me a dyno chart of a IX he tuned and the results blew me away!!
Car had intake, exhaust and mbc nothing more.. Car baselined at 286whp and after the tune, it ended with 347whp on pump!!! What amazed me the most was the tq increase.. I Dont remember the stock baseline tq numbers and after but the difference that was calculated was a 90ft tq increase!!!!!!!!!
That car must feel like a beast!

Did you guys who have the jestr tune with out any other parts, take out the pill from the stock boost solinoid?
I did as others had done, and I got 24 psi of boost and knock sums of 8 and 9 when data logging in 3rd and 4th gear.
Any suggestions as to how to keep the boost down? Drill the pill out and re-insert it or just put it back in without any mods to it?

Yeah, I took my pill out and didn't have any issues with spikes. In 5th gear, the boost holds pretty good at ~21.5 psi and then creeps slowly down after ~5,000 rpm. Sorry, but I don't have any ideas for your issues of high spikes. Maybe just get a EBC so you don't have to worry about spikes. Hope this info helps.
