HKS mushroom causing knock?

HKS mushroom causing knock?
Is it true that HKS mushroom causes knock?

If have a green hks intake mushroom and stock intake pipe (unfortunatley it came with the car) and i have some high knock issues in the 6000 rpm range.

I highly doubt it. Wish i could offer more insight but a filter causing knock just doesn't seem right.

the car needs to be tuned..

check the heat range on your plugs who ever owned it before might have thought higher heat plugs were good but are by no means
