Installation question before buying Power FC?

I am considering getting a Power FC. However I am curious if hooking up the D-Jetro version that converts the unit to speed density, what has to be done when installing. Any OEM connectors have to be cut or wires? Or is it basically a plug n play unit with stand alone NEW harnesses for the pressure and temp sensor. Anybody who cares to share some details of the installation process, that would be great.

Thanks,
Brian

i would deff reccomend the djectro version. map air flow is awsome. im pretty sure you can just disconnect your maf sensor and put the plug aside. the power fc should come with all the harnesses for the new sensors.

I have seen one D jetro version on an Evo 8 and you don't need to cut anything the Map sensor has its own harness that plugs directly to the power fc ECU on a port in side of the unit.

I'm really curious if the Evo 7 unit will work on a USDM evo 8. All the units i see on ebay for the evo 8 are the regular one that uses the Flow meter and the djetros from the same vendors are for the Evo 7.Does anybody have more info on this?

evo8 are able to use the PFC for evo7; you will require an extra harness to convert evo7 plug points to evo8. i heard HKS converter is going for SG$480 in singapore but rumors is there are thailand mades going for lower price.
