What is the limit of factory maf?

Hi guys,

I've just bought Apexi Power Fc for my evo8 and planning to tune my car with a hks 3037 turbo kit, 800 cc enjectors, tbe etc.. I need to know that, do I have to change my stock maf with a bigger one or could I use my stock maf in order not to exceed the limits of it? With 16384 load it shows 290.906 g\s.. I'm curious of the limit of maf and so the turbo boost I should use..

Thanks in advance..

550whp is about the limit on the maf, after that, and even before that sometime it will get sucked in.

Boost will depend on the turbo really, 30-32 lbs would achieve these numbers.

The power fc can fun as speed density, I would go that route...

I'd also suggest going speed density (d-jetro) before changing the stock MAF. It's simple, only pain is screwing in the Air Intake Temperature sensor on the manifold.
