Very Crappy! My LM-1 Died!!!!

My question is "Has anyone experience their LM-1 display just go blank but the green light stay on. There is no reading or error message on the display. Then when I plugged it back in it blew the fuse to the car charger that was using to charge for months now. It is not a new LM-1, it is few years old but all it does is show you data. Anyways just a little disappointted on this because it died for no reason. It worked all day then started the car that night and it was blank. So anyone has experienced this and was able to fix the problem please let me know how you fixed it. Thanks you guys for all the support.

Call Innovate's tech support, and explain what happened. They will help you debug the problem, or they'll want you to send it to them so they can see why it failed. Either way you should be back up and running.

FYI, Innovate will NOT charge you to fix the LM-1. They fix all their products for free. Give them a call and they will give you an RMA. Send them the uint and they will fix it and send it back.

I talked to them and they told me it would be 45.00 and they would give me the new black casing for it. It was the white cased LM-1. Thats what they told me that it would be 45.00 and they would fix everything.

Man my LM1 went out last year and I bought it in 2001 - 02, I got an o2 sensor error forgot which one but it was with a new o2 sensor and several other used sensors as well. My analog stereo input was broken and also i was missing the battery cover also. I called and got an RMA number. I paid shipping and they sent me my LM1 back looking brand new everything fixed at no charge. You cannot ask for better service on a wideband that is 6 years old.
