Exclamation Choking Issue

Hey guys... I just bought my first Evo a few days ago. So i'm so new to this. I have a 05 Evo MR and it has 14,000 miles on it. Car runs real good, but when spooling around 4 to 5 rpm's it starts bogging(choking). The guy who I bought it from claims there are cams and rockers installed. Not sure. Dashboards shakes hard while idling, but while driving, everything is normal. Is this normal??? But back to the choking.... What you guys think is the problem of the choking??? PLEASE SOME ADVICE........

Start with finding out the exact mods that are on your car. 272 cams or something similar will cause a lopey idle. As far as bogging at 4-5 grand, he might have the wrong tune in the car. Find out if the car was ever flashed or if the former owner had an SAFC or some form of engine management. Chances are, he probably took them out and left the car untuned. Search around and you can solve your problems real quick. Start by posting your exact mods that you can find on the car.
