Thanks for the positive endorsement, Mr. Ivey.

lol, that's funny, you said "keep up the good work" in another thread where I was reviewed by a customer of mine.

I live in Cape Town and just got tuned by Mellon.

In real word terms I can tell you before the tune my Evo 9 was doing 0-200 kph in around 20 seconds with a drop in and full exhaust system and stock ECU. Now after Chris worked my AFR and Timing I am getting 18 seconds and less. Car feels like a beast, sounds better and gets an incredible second dose of acceleration at high RPM. The flat areas in certain parts of the rev range are gone and now acceleration feels strong throughout. If I drive my car like a civilised person I also get an extra 50km per tank.

So Chris will help you unlock more power, reduce knock if you have (you probably do have some) and let your ECU extract the most out of your cars setup and fuel.

He also answers you on a daily basis and keeps you well informed. I could not be
happier!

Thanks again Chris!!!

there is a thread with a poll for eflash/tuning picks... TTP leads the way with jestr right behind him. Scott from TTP is a great guy and amazingly enough, you usually have your flash within an hour or so of emailing him.... DONT GO WITH DYNOFLUSH as your customer service desires will not be met by any means. I've had a few jestr flashes sent to me that were knocking pretty good that i adjusted, but he seems to get great reviews as well..... overall, TTP is the way to go in my honest opinion

I am very happy with my tune from Mellon. He was the Third Tuner I tried too.

I guess three times a charm!

Begin a fellow Arkansas Evo owner I can let you know that I am going to give Mellon a shot at my car after reading the reviews and looking at a lot of his tunes. I have changed a few things on the car and need an update. Jestr tuned my car last and did a fantastic job. You can read the review on my website or on this site if you search. Quality work, quality service and a great guy. I wish he could tune it again when he comes to Houston in October, but the travel price for the update would not be worth it.

Our problem is that living in AR, we dont have a large group of Evo guys that we can get together in order to get Jestr, Scott or Sean Ivey to come here without someone having to come out of pocket big time. Its just not worth it for the tuners that live that far away to make a trip here to tune 3 cars. The closest Jestr comes is Houston which was a 12 hour drive for me last time. The cost of the trip after hotel, food, tune, fuel dyno time etc was over $1500. Traveling to Florida to catch Scott (TTP) or Jestr at a local shop would be even more expensive. . . another thing is that I just dont like mail in tunes. I'd rather have the tuner sitting right there. I guess I'm just very picky.

That's just my thoughts.

jeff

ft. smith is about 5 hours away from me, I could drive that and do some road tunes to save the dyno expense shoot me an e-mail if you want to get some dialog going.
