a k&n drop in filter, for your stock air box. no need for an "intake". not to be rude, but before you post stuff like this......which.....have been discussed numerous of times, try the search button. very useful tool.

i have this same question,

BUT searchin all over this and other forum's, i never get a staright answer.

maybe this guy had the same problem, and thought to start his own thread.

every1 answers like: i got this and i got that, but the question is: WHAT IS THE BEST INDUCTION THAT MAKES THE MOST POWER AND TORQUE?

i have a hks and a jr panel with a cutout in the stock airbox. this works well for me, but only until i find somethin better.

K&N sucks ***. Blitz Induction filter. Worked with stock air box even with GT35R and 2.4L at 500WHP.

And this has what to do with engine management?

Buschur or HKS. Only problem with the HKS is that it barely filters anything.

Should the OP have searched? Yes

Should his first mod be an intake? No

Is the K&N Typhoon good? No, it has been known to cause problems.

Listen to the veterans of the site... get a drop in filter and start looking for other things to modify... namely Exhaust and a tune... most people also use a Manual Boost Controller, but if you do your homework, you will see that it is not always required.

Buschur...so what I'm curious about is that it was mentioned that some member never gets a "straight answer" about what is the best intake, yet every thread asks what the best intake is...so he thinks by asking this one last time someone is going to say the end-all "THIS IS THE BEST INTAKE - _______" but it's turning into just another pick pick me thread!!!! (enter whatever your preference is in the _____, I say Buschur, saw nice gains personally)
