Does the stock ECU record driving patterns?

Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. I read the posts in here a lot, but I never post anything.

I did a question search, but I couldn't find the answer to my question.

I am just wondering if the stock ECU records driving patterns (engine load, rpm signal, boost, etc.) and if it does how long it keeps that info?

Thanks!

Not from the disassembly I've seen. Certainly no one has mentioned it.

There is some snapshot data stored, but normally its not captured unless there is an error condition.. So the general answer is no, it shouldn't store any of that info unless there is an error such as overboost or misfire.

Now, even if the info is stored, its only a snapshot of what was happening at the moment it was captured. There is no extended logging or anything like that.
