ok, so i bought an evo off an auction and to make a long story short i got into some ish with it. cams and gears were missing as was the bov and intake and some other stuff... well i had to rebuild the head. i pulled it off and rebuilt it.

now inside the car you can tell that the guy before me had lots of performance stuff in there. lots of exta wires and other little things.

the car runs and drives now and it does ok. but sometimes i feel as if i need to have a tuner look at it and tune things up a bit. i dont plan on keeping the car for long so i need it to run good and clean and then sell it.

also i was thinking... i want to find a local place to help me out with this... i live in Auburn, Washington. i wouldnt mind after we get the car to run good, if i could get an ecu tune too

well let me know if theres any one out there that can lead me somewere

If you want to to run normal why don't you find someone that'll flash a ROM that's set stock for you?

IF your car seems like its not running right then yes you should have it tuned. The last owner may have had the car tuned for the parts he had on the car before you got it! After you put parts back in it, if they are not the same he had on there then it will need a tune! IT could just be your air/fuel or he could of had the ecu reflashed. Do some research on some good shops around you that work with Evo's and find the best one and let them take a look at it!

i had 2 evos. one shell and one good one. still have the good evo

 

I would have someone look at it because you dont know what parts were on it before and what tune is in the ecu. it may be set up for a big turbo or something like that.
