I cant get anything to work in vmware. Im dumping vmware and going to bootcamp.

There shouldn't be anything that you can't do in bootcamp as its not windows emulation, its simply windows. If you were running parallels that may be a different story.

Good luck. My understanding is that you'll run into trouble with the usb/serial adapters in paralells/vmware, but please keep us updated. I'm very curious to see what you find out.
