EMS experiences

I am looking to get an EMS, but I am not sure what to go with. I have looked at Autronic, but not too sure since it has no knock protection. AEM looks to be pretty good and I know many top tuners use it. I have also done some research on GEMS, but they are not sold in the US. And the last one is Hydra, does anyone have experience with the Hydra? Any input is appreciated.

The Hydra is an excellent ecu. I purchased my Hydra from Element Tuning. If you have questions about the ecu contact Phil at Element Tuning. He will take the time to answer all your questions.

AEM all the way, it is easy to use and easy to tune. It also has made the greatest impact in the EVO community. I have used the hydra before and I didn't like the software at all. Autronic is nice and a well thought out system but you hit the nail on the head, knock protection just isn't in their books at all.
