I own a 03' Evo 8 with 52k miles on it. Today i was driving my car and it just started jerking while i was trying to drive. I let it idle for a bit and it was fine then tried to take off again and it almost died and the check engine light came on. Now before sometimes i would stop at a light and the rpms would almost drop off. Im thinking its the throttle position sensor. But if anyone has any ideas please share.

 

sounds like you've popped a intercooler hose loose and the ecu went into limp mode
