P0300 code and Tunning?

Ok im not sure what to do? I want the P0300 code gone for good. my question is if I get a aftermarket tunning system like AEM or UTEC (or any other brand for that matter) will it go away?

Also With one of these systems will my OBD2 prot still work for inspection in the state of texas?

Thanks for the help.

p0300 is a random cylinder misfire , u need to check plugs since they are the most common problem for that code. wont go away for good until u fix the problem

plugs huh.. didnt ever think of doin that (dont know how that would cuase it though. need a spark inorder to fire and if its "mis firing" then theres probably somethin wrong with your ign.. right?).

if you have a lightend(unbalanced) flywheel thats my guess as to what the code is for. its very annoying man. i know i get it everytime i go for a drive. i bought a creader just the other day.. highly suggest getting one . tephra might be making a patch for the p0300 code also but im not sure. he's probably really busy atm. get a creader!

Yup get a C-reader it really helps. But then again spark plugs are the biggest problem, that might solve the problem/.
