Interesting fix....

A buddy of mine bought an evo8 that Mitsubishi somehow had installed an Evo9 crate motor in. They did not use an evo9 harness or ecu. He did not want to spend 1k+ dollars on a harness and pay to have me put it in, so this is the solution I came up with for him.

I'll keep you updated once its completed. Already have the ecu and Mivec plug, just need a camshaft position sensor plug.

It worked beautiful, once I realized I had to disable the Immobilizer it fired right up, no check engine lights or anything. Tuned it out and it runs awesome!

i used to have to do that alot back in my Honda swap days... awesome it worked w/ the Evo!

Oh yea, I've done at the very least 100 swaps in Honda's. Between my own cars and the shop I worked for, I have no fear for wiring now
