Greddy Emanage
Anybody out there using a greddy emanage. if so is it a good capable system for the evo and what mods are you running in the vehicle. the price looks good for the emanage compared to ams motec and other brands but is it worth it over just a reflash????

Greddy emanage is a piggyback ecu. I has very limited functions. If you have slight mods on your car, you will be able to use but if you change to a larger cc injectors then you will have to go standalone.

this statement is incorrect, the emanage has a inj. calc. function any it is one of the things the emanage does well.
All you do is input the existing value then put in the size of the new inj and the emanage calculates the fuel.

with the ultimate, you can modify airflow, ignition and injection !
you can run targeted injection map, rev limiter up and launch control, big injectors.
you can control boost solenoid, or water injection solenoid valve, or water spray for example. you can also logg a lot of parameters.
not as good as standalone AEM for sure, but it's easy to tune and you can control some systems.
( i use it for a 3000GT with water injection and water spray control )
and it depends of the degree of modification of the engine !
for me, this product as map-ecu2 is a good way for someone who don't want to go to standalone ECU.
it's ok for a 3000GT ecu who can not be remapped, but for an evo i don't know if it is really necessary.
in any case, i like it !
