[QUOTE=SCEvol8;6032979]I just view this as another example of the lack of support shown to the evo community. If I could get my money back by selling the accessport second hand, I think I would

1st off this isn't a thread to be expressing that type of comment.....secondly I think cobb has done quite a bit to help out the evo guys.. you have to understand that for them they only have a small collection of guys using the AP for the evo...this isn't a multi-million dollar enterprise for them (in regards to the evo stuff)...so in that light I think they have been fair in their dealings...not perfect...but no one is...but they respond quick enough (when Called) to issues and are still trying the move the product they placed in the field along with these updates.

End Rant

Agreed, but I can understand the sentiment. AP owners have been languishing for a more complete solution for - ever.

Oh but it could be. Do you realize that they ARE the only AWD tuner in Utah with any kind of reputation? I mean come on...they are a pretty big tuner. They have plenty of recognition. No one to blame but themselves. Lack of attentiveness and fervor for the market. Someone in charge should realize that EvoM IS the information highway for everything Evo. I mean, have you looked at the COBB boards? Have you seen how many threads and posts are there in the Mitsu section? AccessTUNER race? Exactly 0.

I'm sure they understand that alot of Evo AP owners are pissed off. They can begin to remedy that with releases of free goodies like TunerRace software like they have. Hopefully this is a standard with every purchase of the AP as revisions are pumped out. It's actually very smart. Someone has had to of been reading a whole bunch and realized how many damn Evo owners tune their own car.

^^^I understand where you are coming from...things haven't been perfect with the evo products....but looking at how many people cobb has....they are not IBM or some massive company....they are actually pretty small....heck my company I work for has about 30 people and we are really small but bigger than cobb....now do I think cobb is overextended on what they are trying to do in regards to all their other projects (cars, software, etc)...yes I do...and I know for a fact that the evo AP's came out way too late and their market share is next to nill (unfortunately, cause I think it is a great product)....so I understand that a small company running in all different kinds of directions may not focus a ton of time on a segment group that will not bring them the % of dollars required to pump in more time.....

I guess if we want to be coddled by cobb we should buy X's

good luck with the RaceTuner software!!!
