How to quick tune ?

After reading several post, it's mentioned after any modz... example air intake, adding down pipe, changing a blow off valve. anything changed from Stock it's recomended to do a " QUICK TUNE " what does this mean or what sort of equipment do I need to this ? and how do i know when I've tuned it properly. This might sound rediculous to ask but I just recently got me a 06' Evo 9 and want to try and modify it myself...or is it not recomended... Please let me know thanks

check out www.mellontuning.com I have links to the equipment and a video tutorial on how to do the basics but if you don't have any idea how to tune I would either get a professional to tune it for you or start reading in the ecuflash section to get familiar.

I tune my self and trust m, nothing quick about it, all trial and error, Just don't make too big of an error. Having someone else do a tune is a good idea. They have put in the hours to understand it all. Also if you are interested in learning and I think everyone should learn as much as they can read up on it and do what you are doing ASK QUESTIONS I have read allot from Mellon and he has been doing some good stuff. I am sure I will be asking him through some PM soon.
