cobb ap w/mbc knock problem

made a few pulls on a dyno today with the new mods. First pull was with the mbc all the way down made 198whp so we uped the boost to 20psi made 222whp, which is about what i made before i added the stage2 ap, dp, and mbc so i was kind of disappointed with that. Since every thing seemed fine we set it at 22psi, started the pull and at about 5k-5,500 power dropped off considerably and had a knock count of 8. What do you think would cause that? Shouldn't 22psi be a safe level with the stage2 ap?
