I've pressure tested a few cars equipped with Greddy RS BOV's. They tend to leak at the blue gasket they provide. Some sparing use of gray rtv seals it up nicely.
so as i was just advised by two very knowledgeable fellow evo owners since i have the normal hotside and not the 10.8 or whatever cause its a 2004(which i knew) that the power output is pretty much normal without cams...but thanks for the info ill def check for that boost leak at the bov if u tell me how lol

You can check it with a pressure tester and soapy water, or be **** and pick up some gray RTV and apply sparingly to both sides of the gasket, reassemble and let it set for a few hours.
Look at this chart, 0 smoothing, and its still butter smooth. Some great tuning going on there
As I told the owner when a car is brought in for a tune we don't know anything about the mechanical condition of the car. We don't know who worked on it, if it had a boost leak, or whatever else. We make a best effort and if we see anything out of whack we fix it. Smaller boost leaks we cannot see without actually doing a boost leak check.
The cars are getting older, more people have touched the cars, and it is getting more and more common for little issues to be present.
In this case the car is within the normal range for the "Conservative 22psi tune" the owner asked for.
