lc-1 reading 15.1 problem

my lc-1 has worked flawlessly for the past year or so. suddenly while i was driving last night my gauge just went to 15.1 and stayed there. i turned the car off for a few seconds and restarted it and the same thing. it starts at 7.4 and very very slowly climbs point by point up to 15.1 and freezes.

so today i pulled the sensor out of the exhaust and inspected it. no visible damage to the sensor or wire bundle. i made sure the sensor was still connected to the control box. it was.

i turned the power on and looked at the end of the sensor and could see the orange dot at the end light up indicating the heater working. and it did heat up but wasnt very hot. i could hold it in the palm of my hand after a few minutes and it was just warm. i dont really know how hot its supposed to get.

i then went through the calibration process per the manual and that didnt work.

and i tried to load up lm programmer and it just keeps saying to plug into the device and turn it on or something like that. evoscan no longer connects to it and that has worked flawlessly. i went into device manager and it is recognizing that the serial to usb is connected to the com port.

Sounds like the life of the sensor is done.
