Hey, just wondering about EVOSCAN
Wanted to register with evoscan but i dont have Openport 1.3 cables, i have the new 2.0 cables.
will the OpenPort 2.0 Cables work with EvoScan?

Yeah I just bought the same cable... It read in the ECU flash sub forum that they are currently implementing support. My guess is that they don't have support yet, which sucks cause it seems that Tactrix discontinued production of the older cable.

 

damn if i woulda known i would have just bought 1.3 cables. I need to log really badly.

can anyone confirm this? or have any more info

 

I had the same problem, I got the 2.0 and it will NOT work with evoscan, I ended up selling the 2.0 and just getting the 1.3.

 

WTF man i wish they dident stop sellign the old cable because people in my position is screwed i just stared to get into logging and all that was availible was the 2.0 cable and it dosent even work with evoscan thats BS

 

you can still buy the old style cable through evoscan

 

hey thanks but dam that sux i just got my 2.0 cable from the tactrix site thinking that the 1.3 cable was discontinued because it was not on their site n e more well shame on me for not searching enough well i just bought the 1.3 cable n e ways

 

yeah it does suck, wish the 2.0 cable could just do it, but i was also reading about the new UniLogger, set to be due out in december, i think that one will have 2.0 cable logging, and i think its also free?

 

Seems that a lot of people are getting screwed with using the 2.0 cable and evoscan.

Well I 1st purchased the 2.0 worthless cable .. and I just realized that Evoscan has cable that works. So I ordered theirs.. Way to screw everyone Tactrix..

 

i got the 1.3 cable never used been sittin collecting dust. PM me if u want to buy it
