Help with LC-1 and evoscan

I just installed a new LC-1 wb02 , and the sensor is working properly but for some reason it is not sending info to Evoscan 2.5 or 2.6 . I have tried everything from choosing the right port in the computer and I even bought another Serial to USB cable just in case but it still does not work. The strange thing is that if I hit the RECALIBRATE button in evoscan, the sensor WILL recalibrate. So info will go from Evoscan to the sensor but NOT from the sensor to Evoscan. I donīt know what to do. A computer guy that is helping told me that probably I needed some special info related to the port, as Speed, Parity, etc... I have no idea about all this, and my tuner has told me several times that he has always just plugged in the Serial to USB and it works without hassle.
What do you guys think could be the problem?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey mate,

I'm not 100% sure but it may require some particular driver for the Serial to USB cable. Good luck with it all, I hope someone with more knowledge than me pops into help out.

Cheers Steve

I have the same set up and noticed that everytime I would select External Wideband it would default an error code...in use or something....anyways I finally tried and found that if you start the log session(wait until it is started) and then click External Wideband that it will start to log. Hope this helps
