Yea, hard to tell with no wideband readings, not sure I'd be tuning without one to start with.

i do have a wideband but i can't get it to work with Evoscan. tune A was done with the tuner's own wideband though, so i'd assume its very close to the optimal 11.3-11.5

as a general rule of thumb whats better for power/longevity - lower timing + leaner AFRs or higher timing + richer AFRs?

thanks again

Its a lil difficult to give advise w/ out the WB reading.
It depends on the car, and what the car wants... I was told that timing gives you more power than a leaner AFR. My .02 is to find the middle ground (for safety)Timing is a bit low @ peak for a IX. Before the intercooler, I was running 2-3* @ peak... You have 1*.

your timing is pretty conservative. Even for a IX. However, you are on 91 octane... so maybe thats about right for you guys. Down south we have 93 octane pump which typical IXs run about 3-4 degress peak torque timing and about 12-14 degrees by 7-7500rpm. Just FYI as comparison
