hey guys, i just got my lc1 today, i'm just wondering how i should hook it up so i can temporarily use it in different cars. i was thinking of just getting a 12volt plug and maybe that would work but my civics cigarette lighter doesnt work, neither does my friends 240. is there any other way to have it temporarily installed? without to much of a hassle?

 

Why not try and diagnose the broken cig lighter as that is going to be the easiest soultion...

 

yeah we may just have to do that, he was going to put his boost gauge in there since it fits pretty good. but oh well. i ended up doing the cigarette lighter trick and it seems to be working on my car so yeah, i was worried about "noise" with it that way but we'll see, im trying to get a few other things settled before i go and start logging with it
