I'm currently looking for an evo and I was just wondering how would I know if the ECU has been tuned/flashed when buying from a dealer? Do I just take it to a tuner? Or are dealers required to reset the ECU when they sell a used car?

 

You wont know unless you actually get to the ecu and hook it up.

 

Unless it has a sticker on it or it looks like its been messed with. The dealership won't reflash rofl or do anything to it.
