injector duty cycle above 100%

This is a tricky question. Do you get more fuel when injector duty cycles are above 100%?

no. 100% is maxinum the injectors flow, anything over 100% duty cycle the car is loosing fuel causing it to go lean.

i not ppl run passed 100% duty cycle which IMO is not smart.

ill run my car where it pumps fuel to where detonation doesnt become a factor.

This is a tricky answer I guess if you are speaking of duty cycle as measured by Evoscan then there are plenty of folks that say yo ucan run over 100% duty cycle without going lean. when you do start going lean that is when your injector is running it's relative 100% max and then you are not getting more fuel as you are going lean.

4 cycle engines have a 720 degree cycle. 360 intake cycle. 360 exhaust cycle. Depending on injection used sequential or batch fire the 100% injector duty is based around 360 cycle or 720 cycle. batch fire (or bank to bank) is when all the injectors fire at same time. similar to carb engine the fuel can be injected for the complete 720 cycle. for sequential FI the injector is phased with the intake valve opening. at 100% it is only injecting in the 360 intake cycle. I have been told when running AEM when you are at 120% you are getting more fuel than at 100% the extra 20% would be injecting during the exhaust cycle.

Yes. Because the injectors are undersized in the ECU.
