I've had them installed for a while now, tuned, no issues, strong mid range! I kept it simple (no cam gears).
Except for one thing....
They idle mostly like stock except every sec or two it will lope (which almost feels like a misfire), but nothing radical whatsoever, just one little bump and there. Now I didn't touch the fuel or timing at idle. Before I got experimenting with changing the timing/fuel, would anybody have some insight on this? ATM, I think a simple minor change in timing should cure the problem. I would just like some assurance that I'm heading the right direction. However, If the only difference in the cam is the slightly longer duration, How can a 1* +/- help if the duration length is still on the same center as the stock cam.
Would I be better off leaving the timing alone and adjusting the fuel?
I'm mainly curious as to why this happens with such a mild cam.
