Tuning Question sorry i'm new

i've done some research on the net and this forum regarding openecu or what ever its called. I've called cobb and txs both saying essentailly that their tuning devices are useless compared to this product. i went online and found the website. my questions aremy car is a 06 evo ix< plans are cams, intake, upper/lower ic pipes, tbe.)
does it datalog?
is their a comprehensive list of tuners around the country?
is this really a safe alternative to other tuning solutions?

You need to use EvoScan (or Mitsulogger, or some other logging program) to do datalogging. The OpenEcu EcuFlash software is only for writing new run-time software and data to the ECU. Any tune is only really as safe as the knowledge and skills of the person doing the tuning, regardless of solution.
