Need Help Wiring TurboXS Tuner Pro
Need Help Wiring TurboXS Tuner Pro
Hello, I wasn't sure where to start this thread since I saw the TurboXS subforum but it seems its for the UTEC. Mods please move if necessary.
Well, here's my situation. I have purchased a TurboXS Tuner Pro used. But I only got the unit itself and the oxygen sensor. No harness. So its up to me to make a harness since I'm trying to avoid buying a new harness from TurboXS. I only paid $50 for the unit so I don't want to pay $100 for wiring. If there are any current Pro Tuner owners, I would really like a huge favor. I need assistance identifying what pins go to what. I've read and gathered so far that pin15 is positive12v and pin12 is negative ground. The others...no clue unforunately. I plan on getting a female DB15 pin plug and using that. The only way I can think to identify the wiring is using the harness itself and not the sensors. The easiest way I can think to identify the wiring is to get a battery (9v, 12v, etc) and connect the ground (-) on the end of the harness, probably where the plugs. Take a light, a test light, led, etc and connect to the positive (+) side of the battery. Then use the negative side of the test light and "find" the ground on the 15pin connector. I already need is the oxygen sensor for now. If someone can get me the identification of the 5wires on O2 sensor and where they correspond on the 15pin connector, I would emensely appreciate it... Here are some pics I drew in Paint and easier to "fill in the blanks"

Visual on how to "test" the wires

"Fill in the Blanks"
Thanks guys
