Question stock ecu and a 35r turbo?

is it possible? I might get an evo with a 35r with all supporting mods. It has the AMS EMS but i have heard they tend not to want to let the car start on the first try. would i be better off getting rid of the EMS and getting the stock ECU reflashed? Im pretty sure i could do that with the 35r right? thanks!

no you wouldnt have the stock ecu. the aem will replace it. also not all ecu's will work on all cars. try to stay with the same year ecu as car. they are different due to the acd and valve timing depending if the car has it or not.
