Isnt meth a problem causer? Or, maybe, those arent the best words.. but as far as reliabilty over a straight-up racecar. In my situation, this is my daily driver.. and I cant sacrifice the car for anything. I would rather spend more money developing less power (but more reliable) than getting big gains at the cost of my dream. I have heard its nothing as bad a nitrous, but is it along the same lines reliability wise? Thanks again for the words everyone.. its made my path quite successful so far.

A lot of people use it and have no complaints. But I'm kinda like you;
I have to get to work everyday and the less I have to worry about the better.

Dude your going to love the o2 dump. When I got mine installed along with a walboro 255 and a tune. At 24psi I made 315AWHP on a mustang dyno. I gained 30 hp and 50lb ft of torque from my previous dyno of 286 with intake, boost controlloer and full exhaust with test pipe.

yes sir, 30hp and 50 lb ft of torque throughout my rpm band. I also installed the walboro 255 and got the car tuned at the same time. my mods list are in my sig. That day I dynoed at 315AWHP. It was back in February so it was probably like 76 degrees in the shop at the time. Weather controlled numbers bumped me down to 310AWHP when we calculated the power for the temperature being around 90 degrees which it is now here in Florida.

I ordered my dump from QTP or quick time performance. If I had to do it again, I would go with the EPM o2 Dump. The QTP one is a nice piece but does have some fitment issues. It contacts the AC compressor and is really close to the factory Lower intercooler pipe. You have to do some bending of parts in order to make it fit. Yeah I wasn't expecting that much power from the o2 dump but these turbo's really respond well to freeing up the exhaust. I know for sure that I could get an extra 10 to 15hp if I add an exhaust cut out on the downpipe. Turbo's always respond well to open exhaust. The o2 housing I think was around $200 or so. A cheap mod for great gains. Plus it sounds awesome. It's definately well worth the money for either the o2 dump or an exhaust cut out.

Oh I forgot to mention that when they tuned the car after I added the o2 dump, we increased the boost by 1psi. I'm sure that added to the power as well. Also the turbo spools up alot faster. Before the stock turbo would spool up around 3400 rpm and now it spools up around 3200 rpm which is great.

You will make great power with this mod because you have an Evo 9 and your turbo is a little bit better than my 2005 turbo. Yeah I do have the 10.5 hotside but I know your turbo makes a bit more power.

I've hear the EPM dump isn't as good as the MAP dump. Isnt EPM closed down now anyway? I do know the MAP dump is like 4bucks though.. OUCH! But, similarly, i've also heard fitment is not an issue with their part. And obviously, these are all things that i've "heard" but so far I hear things that seem to follow through rather closely.
