i am in the market for an evo 9 i have had an evo 8 and an sti and now i think its time to get back to the evo. i just found an evo it is running 400whp on 29psi with meth on stock turbo internals and transmission, clutch. i am plannin on making the car stock but what worries me is 29psi on stock turbo. was that bad? it is gonna have a stock tune but i do not want any problems it has 39k on it. i am used to subies where 21psi on stock turbo is like asking to blow a ringland. any input would be helpful, thanks

 

when i bought my evo 8 it was running meth a 421 hp and 431 tq also on stock internals and turbo, i took the meth off and had to replaced all sensors on the intake manifold due to the meth destroying them. but other then that i have found nothing else wrong with the car that could be contributed to the high boost
