Replaced megan manifold during 60k service with buschur stock ported exhaust manifold. Picked up 6-10 counts of knock after switch. Since then I had trans rebuild. Installed 1200's and tuned for 93 oct tonight. Knock counts are now 20ish. AFRs are great. Inspected plugs for detonation and they were clean. We trouble shot everything. WTF is going wrong? Help.

 

Could it be the sensor?
The sensor itself could be loose.
I had a knock problem before not as bad as yours and it was the sensor at the end.

Check the hoses behind the intake mani...

 

Your * might have to be adjusted it might be too advdanced .when you have more air flow you have to change it or it will go kaboom.

 

When we tuned my car a while back and had 37 counts of knock. Fixed a boost leak, replaced the full tank of bad fuel, and gutted the Perrin HFC that failed, and all the knock went away. Just maybe some things to look at if it pertains to you.

 

during my tune my egr hose behind the intake mani popped off causing a lot of knock... just one of those hoses can caust 20+ counts. put it back on and viola! no more knock.
