ECU stop thief, GPS tracking.
Long time no hear My EVO has GPS tracking installed, the system has an output that can be controlled via. SMS message. Now I would like to get this output to stop the engine on my SMS message. Can I close a signal to the ECU to achieve this safely?
You could probably install a relay and kill power to the ECU. No power, no go.
The only issue with this is that it may cause the driver (thief) to loose power steering and the vacuum assist on the brakes which may lead to a wrecked car.
