Aem went bad what should i do

Well i have an old series one in my 03 evo 8 and pretty sure it went bad after a super cold day. I have no spark no power to my fuel pump all i have is ignition and can turn over the car. Everything else is dead. So i was wondering anything that could cause this should i get my aem rebuilt, or buy another ecu from a different brand help me out

Convert back to oem ecu IMO. It can nearly do everything an AEM unit can nowadays.

See if AEM will warrentee the unit, if not eat it and get another.

I would recommend going back to the stock ECU and use ECUFlash. With all the reverse engineering that has been done, it's just as capable as AEM and it's completely stock.

good luck!

Hmm yeah i was thinking about that going back to a stocker. How much are thoughs going for and how does the ecuflash work. Like what do i need cable wise software wise and whatnot. I have always had aem so never had to research into it

Check all your fuses, make sure that has nothing to do with it.

AEM said bad firmware chipset so ecu is fixed and on route back to my house. Service was ridiculously fast. One day to recieve and fix it cant beat that. I stand behind aem 100 percent for service like that!
