Tuning revision pls :)

Hey guys first time tuning and this is what i changed from the stock maps, if u guys can give me any advice i'd sure appreciate it. mods on car when i took the data log were tbe, walbro, cone filter on stock intake pipe since then i added ets lp2 licp but ets site says u dont need a retune after install so i dont think i need to re-data log. I have not flashed this rom back onto the car wanted some feedback b4 i did lmk wut u guys think.... If needed i can reflash this back to car then re data log to get more info but only if u guys"KNOW" the car wont blow up on me during logging. boost is set at roughly 21-22 at peak tapering to around 18-19 i know i need a omni 4 bar map to log thats next on my list

Ok first you should save the pics as PNG

But from what i can see your timing map is way conservative in peak boost area

I cant really read your logs either but are you hitting 300load? what boost?

Timing is too conservative in boost area. You're seriously running less timing than i did with a stock turbo at 25psi on 91 octane. I imagine you would easily get 3 more degrees of timing on it even with bad fuel :P

Also in the future so i don't require a magnifying glass to view your log simply zip the log and post it here as an attachment.

Timing is way low man,

you shouldnt have to go into negative timing, basically what i would do is the following

Shoot for about 2 degress at peak boost and ramp it up to redline,

Log and check for knock keep increasing timing and making sure the map is smooth until you see knock counts then reduce

Ill post a E8 2.0ltr timing map stock turbo if you want? as a guide not to copy though

No your fuel map looks way rich too,

Do you have a wideband in the car? If not i would pretty much stop there because changing time affects fuel, and obviously changing the fuel map

attached is my 2.0ltr Timing map dont copy it just have a look and compare

Obviously you can visually see the WB, whats it like with that fuel map now?

Did you go over your timing map, make small steps and make sure its smooth keep logging and adjusting

Ok, I'm gonna go into detail bare with me lol 15ish idle at -16,-17 vacuum. At cruise it's usually in the 14-15's at WOT it goes to around (12-13) til shift. Sweet no not yet so I shud take that map and can u give me a lil help and tell me around where to start on the rpm/idle for both a/f and timing pls . How will I know when it's to low will I get crazy amounts of knock? Will the evo be safe with this rom to reflash and log again safely, does the mivec mapping look good?

ok that sounds really bad on pump fuel to be in the 13's

You fuel map should be putting you in the 9-10 AFR region WOT not 13.. are you sure that wideband is calibrated. Perhaps you got injector scalings messed up?

Idle should be 14.7-15.1
Cruise should be dead on 14.7

Spoolup should be 12ish dropping to boost afr.

AFR in boost should be 11.5 on pump or slightly lower with poor fuel.
