I have an '04 with a tune for 23psi, but my turbo is bad and my manifold leaks (both stock). I'm replacing them with an evo 8 turbo with 10.5 hotside and a megan racing tubular manifold. While I have that stuff off, I also have a megan racing ported o2 housing and Forge diverter I'm planning to put on. My question is, will I be able to safely drive the car for a week or so before I can install the new front mount, walbro 255lph pump, FIC 750cc injectors and AEM intake and get a new tune from Turco? I have no idea who originally tuned the car before I bought it, but it's a crappy tune. Is it possible to do all of this stuff without retuning right away or will it damage my car? I'm a newb to evos, but I want to learn.

Yeah its fine to drive it with the new parts untuned. Just make sure you back off the boost or stay out of it until it's tuned. Also if it runs too rich in part throttle I wouldn't drive it much until you get it tuned again. But as long as closed loop is enabled in current tune the car should drive decent enough under part throttle conditions to move it around and get it to your tuner.
