Emanage ignition wiring

For those with the ignition working fine on the cars (including those that got it started and working but burnt the coils due to ignition on)..

Did you follow the instructions as per the manual or did you just wired up based on recommendations/workshop wiring ??????

I wired mine up per the instructions and I could never get the car started up .. and here there are guys running with the ignition system for almost a year !!

And yes I'm running 1.36 and I did get the ignition adaptor from Greddy for the CT9A .. nothing works

Try reversing the ignition wires. In some portion of the manual it can get confusing and you may have wired the in and out reversed on the ignition wires. Make sure all your internal jumper settings are set to factory default and the rotary settings are 383.

I know this is old but have you tried checking for any codes on E-Manage? Have you doble checked the jumper settings? Sounds like you may have a bad unit possibly.

Mine is ok, even survived 45 minutes with the key on/engine off last fall.

Just a thought here, if there is a value in the very first cell would that cause the e-manage to try and send a signal to the coil (that's not firing) causing it to overheat and short out?
