Is There An "Official" Idle Speed?

I searched for at least an hour using EvoM search and the site: switch in google.

I want to know, for an Evo IX:

1. The "Official" stock-specified Idle Speed from the factory. 750? 830? 900?

2. What I should expect with: Open Element filter, FMIC, Ported Intake/Exhaust manifolds, 70mm TB, BBK Full, and TBE. (I'm guessing this should be very close to stock/normal)

3. What I should expect with adding S2 cams to the setup in 2.

Someone here knows this info off the top of their head.

Please help. Thanks.

Yes. Its 850 -/+ 50. And you have to use EVOscan to set the idle correctly.

You should expect whatever your tuner put the idle at. With the first round of mods you mentions, there shouldnt be much reason to raise the idle point. But when you go cams, most tuners will most likely raise the idle to 900-1000.

thank you very much, boosted, that's really appreciated.

I ended up with about 850/900 (just got back from picking up my car with step 1 (# 2 from above).

my tach is reading 100 low according to evoscan and is hovering between 9 and 1000.
