anyone help?
I tried running the car today for the first time with the emanage wired into the ecu extention harness. I plugged everything and the car wouldn't start. I'm running the rotary settings in 3 8 3 and my profec e01 lit up and the scree turned on. The emanage had the interaction and the active LED constantly lit, even though there was nothing plugged into the interaction port. I did not have the profec e01 and the emanage interfaced together. I am running the injector harness, ignition harness, and boost pressure sensor/harness. Is there something I am missing? Does the emanage need to be plugged into a laptop or the e01 for its first boot up or something? any help would be appreciated....
PS I soldered every connection on the emanage hanresses to the ecu extention harness. I don't think these are the problems unless I ran the wires wrong. For the ignition and main harness i used 992's how to. for the injector harness i used the manual.

It does have to be plugged into the e-01 or laptob to load up first I do believe. If the car wont start, although you think the wires are good check again. heck take off thespark plug cover and follow it. If 1 and 4, and 2 and 3 both fire right, then its not the wiring.

this kinda pisses me off after wiring the extention harness for 3 hours. I really hope it isn't my wiring. Like i said I got power and everything, and the interation and active LED's both lit and stayed that way till i shut it off again. The car would just crank, like there was no spark at all.

Take the injector harness 'out of the loop' by un-plugging the wires from the extension harness. Hopefully you used the bullet connectors to wire it in. See if it starts. If so, the problem is the injector wiring. If not, do the same thing with the ignition harness. If you didn't use the bullet connectors, pull a plug wire and stick a plug in it to check for spark while cranking. Just do some trouble-shooting and go from there. The E-01 doesn't need to be plugged in (I don't have one), and I didn't do anything other than follow the start-up directions in the Greddy book. The pressure sensor should have no bearing on whether the car will start or not.
It is most likely the ignition harness wires. It's easy to get confused and wire them backwards which will cause car not to start. Double check those. Recheck all the pinouts. Make sure you wired to the Karman Vortex wires in the correct sequence.

Does anyone have a map I can use as a base? My mods are 3 inch turbo back, no cat, hks rs kit, and profec e01/ emanage. I run 94 octane

I wouldn't feel comfortable using an off the shelf map. Best to take it to a tuning shop with an AWD dyno to get tuned in. I'm kind of far from Pittsburgh but I'd be happy to do it. I have another PA STi in here right now getting a custom turbo upgrade.
