Where is the fuel pump check valve?

I've installed an aftermarket FPR with gauge, I hold 40psi fuel pressure at idle and at cold the AFRs are ok, around 14.1 to 14.5 but gets richer as it warms up and at running temp buried richer that 10:1

When I shut the car off the fuel pressure gauge shows I drop from 40psi to 20psi instantly and then 20psi to 0 in just a few seconds. I have been doing some reading in ALLDATA which says it normally can take 1-2 minutes for the system to completely drop pressure.

It shows the following table for this symptom

I have replaced the pump itself with a Walbro 255, but don't know if the fuel pump check valve is part of the actual pump or part of the white plastic harness the pump fits into?

Did you ever find the root cause?
