I would like to build an ignition cut device. Starting with wasted spark. I think I could use a solid state relay in the ecu to coil line and just trigger the relay.(Arduino ) The ground in all cases will be the sas pin . With a simple array [0,255] using an analog dial, is it ideal to control relay frequency like this?

Or should I be cutting the power that energizes te coil
