email/remote tuning

Hey looking for a reputable email tuner. Was going to try and use Mellon but apparently they took every ones money and vanished. So reputable suggestions would be a huge help! thanks in advance!!

Jestr Tuning as well, not on the forum but he's been tuning Evos for a long time. Any setup, speed density or MAF tuning for a set $150 and for an extra cost, he will do a 6 month tuning program to tune your car an unlimited amount of times for 6 months as you add part/change setups.

All the other tuners listed will get you excellent, safe tunes. No worries from any of them.

After going through the e-mail tuning process and then having my car dyno tuned, I can't stress enough how much better the tuning process is on a dyno. There is no comparison.

Go to a reputable tuner with a dyno. Do it once and do it right, a good tune makes all the difference.

With that said, if I had to choose an e-mail tuner, I wouldn't hesitate to go with English Racing, top men they are.

That's my .02

ok cool thanks guys.. another question for those of you that went the remote route was has been your experience with the tune? Such as for performance and driveabilty? How much of a difference could you feel? Obviously I know dyno tuning is the way to go but I do want to explore my options..

A remote street tune will yield the same results or better as tuning done on a dyno given the same competent tuner.

Only variable here being you. You are the one running the pulls, having to listen to the car, make sure nothing is off, Boost leak testing was done, fresh plugs, etc...

My car lives and drives on the road and will only be tuned as such.

driveability was much better on my street tune than dyno tune. there are some things you can't fully simulate on a dyno. I would assume most dyno tuners will have you take them out for a spin afterwards to tighten everything up

Dyno tunes will never be as good as real world, road tunes. A good dyno tuner will get it dialed in on the dyno and then head to the street to get logs to fine tune everything where it will actually be driven. As long as proper time is taken on a remote tune, it will be just fine.

I agree. I do love the smoothness of the Dyno though.
