evo 9 boost lowered

evo 9 boost lowered

i lowered my boost with my boost control a few pounds and my service engine soon light came on. should i be concerned?

Just pull the code. Lowering the boost will not hurt anything. You will just run a little more rich while boosting due to the reduced amount of air.
