You might want to log some part throttle driving at different loads and rpm's.. It may help you figure out where you need to adjust your timing and fuel.. Thats what road tuning is all about.. Periodically your going to find quirks that require tweaking and the only way to do it is to capture lots of data under different driving conditions..

BTW, does anyone have a Terminal Emulation program that works for windows CE (Or PocketPC) I'm going out of my mind trying to find something that is freeware.. Even the old windows CE Terminal.exe program.. I prefer to tune and datalog with my PDA and then tweak.. I'll have a Dashboard app in a week or two that works with a PocketPC

What type of a/f are you targeting. If you are shooting for 11.5 you need to pull out some fuel from the 6000 rpm's in the 100 load site all the way to redline. I'd try and pull out another -.5 at a time until you get a smooth 11.5. Down low looks like you can add a little fuel it looks rather lean. I will confer with Nate tomorrow about it.

I am not sure how tempermental the car will run at 11.5 a/f. Let me know how you make out.

ill try to work on the top end this week. Do i only adjust the load sites on the 100% column?? or 80-100 or how do i know???? RRR
I always recommend making changes to more then one load site to make sure that your map stays reasonably smooth.

Take a look at a few things here. 1. Your ECU looks pretty happy with your high RPM ignition timing being a few degrees higher then what we are running in the UTEC map. If you look at the ignition #1 column in the logger it will tell you what your stock ECU would run if it were in control. 2. You are still pretty rich in those 100% load sites in the above log.

I'd suggest that you first lean out the top end to run about 11.2:1. Then I’d see if you could get away with adding 1-2 degrees of ignition timing (do it 1 degree at a time) in the same area I quoted in the log above. This should help wake up your top end quite a bit. If you can get away with 2 degrees of extra advance make sure you smooth it into the UTEC map.

I am trying to keep him at 11.2:1 on the top end for now. With his AZ gas I don't want him to go too lean.

In fact Ray, please copy this map to one of the other 4 map slots in the UTEC. This way as you make changes you’ve always got this one to fall back on. From the edit maps screen highlight your current map and hit “ctrl-c” then use “a,s,d,w” to move to another map spot and hit “enter.”

It’s always a good idea to keep a back up of your live map so if you make a tuning mistake you can go back to it easily.

I plotted the three data logs to get an idea of what is going on. They are posted here for others.
