When the Tuner and the UTEC are connected, the serial cable is connected from the UTEC to the back of the Tuner.. does that mean that you can also tune the UTEC itself through that front serial port on the Tuner?

I found getting the data cable on the side of the UTEC difficult, especially when installed so it would be a good idea to just leave it in place perminently..

 

thats correct. The serial cable runs from the UTEC to the back of the tuner. the front of the tuner goes to the laptop. You can access them both from the same port in front. I forget the key but you can toggle between tuner and utec menus.

 

Sweet.. I'm picking mine up the end of the week "Hopefully" so I wanted to get my act together..

 

You will also be able to use one gameboy advance to access both units. The gameboy makes for a very nice display that allows you to hide the brain box of the tuner out of sight.
